WHAT YOU 'LL BE DOING:
As an IT Engineer, you’ll be part of the very enthusiastic and united IT team of 4 people working for several countries:
- France for the main site for R&D (compute farm, continuous integration, testing devices…)
- UK for demonstration site for data solutions customers and build data solutions for customers
- USA (CA) for demonstration site for data solutions customers
The team manages a park of over 400 machines with different environments (Windows & Linux) and aims to evolve and consolidate this infrastructure. To achieve this with your teammates, you will:
- Do system and network Administration (configure, backup, monitor, do diagnostics, solve issues…)
- Work to improve the information system and its security
- Deploy new services
- Support users
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Technical skills:
- System and network administration on Linux (RedHat and Ubuntu) and Windows for standard server roles (DHCP, DNS, NFS) is mandatory.
- User support for desktop usage on Windows and Linux is required.
- Identity management with RedHat IDM and AzureAD will be truly appreciated.
- Knowledge on firewall appliances, VPNs, and switch administration.
- Good skills on virtualization environment like VMWare ESX is mandatory, skills on other solutions will be a plus.
- Experience on backups solutions like Miria, Veam, Metallic Commvault will be really appreciated.
- Usage of monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Practice of scripting languages (like Bash, Python…) for automation.
- Administration of Office365 solutions.
- Administration of computing clusters like Slurm will be a plus.
- Knowledge on servers’ hardware for sizing infrastructure will be a plus.
- Experience in transition to ISO27001 will be a plus
Profile:
- Graduate with a bachelor’s to master’s degree (Bac+ 3 to 5) in computer science
- 10 years of experience in IT or 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Technical English required
- Service-oriented Profile
- Passionate about IT and information systems
- Rigor, autonomy, adaptability
- Strong ability to work in a team
CONTRACT INFORMATION:
- Type of contract: Permanent contract
