Marc Schmitz is DPU SOC Engineering Director at Kalray. He started his professional career in 2002 at STMicroelectronics where he worked on Video and Imaging multimedia hardware accelerators embedded in application processor products, as a verification engineer first,  then as a verification manager.

He moved in 2012 in the Imaging division, leading the digital design and verification teams, and worked on a wide range of products including ISP coprocessors, imaging and TOF sensors for leading players in mobile and automotive markets.

Together with his technical background that ranges from architecture, design, verification and physical implementation, his team management and product development experience, Marc brings outstanding hardware Engineering leadership to Kalray.
